Gun Control was written by Aaron B. Powell. This book was created as non-fiction – with a Govt/Politics flavor. The story is designed with a Question/Answer format and layout, giving it a conversational tone. The plot itself presents an opinionated conversation of gun control in the wake of a tragedy.

Gun Control is a story of a father and his two sons indulging in an in depth conversation after watching news coverage on the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The children in the story have questions and concerns about what they had just watched on the television. The conversation contains detailed explanations of talking points, consisting of violence, mentally unstable people, gun control, anti gun control, the Second Amendment, war, and politics. Although this is a one-sided conversation, the statements within are so explanatory, the opposing party could benefit from reading it to better understand their feelings on this subject.

The questions in the book are very real and to the point. Any child watching the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting coverage could ask the same questions. That makes this book very relatable with the younger generation pertaining to what questions they may ask an adult. On the other hand, it is also a great reference for parents or adults trying to answer the questions another adult or child are asking on the subject of gun control. I found this book to be very interesting and intriguing. The way the questions were answered in such detail to fulfill the children's needs for answers, impressed me greatly.
