He Killed Our Janny: A Family's Search for the Truth by Sherrie Lueder is a true crime story that will take your breath away. Who really killed Denver, Colorado top model Janyce "Janny" Hansen? It was on September 21, 1984, when her husband returned to find her body in the car parked in their garage. She’d been murdered! Twenty-five years later, her children undertake the difficult, seemingly impossible challenge to prove that her husband might not be the innocent witness the courts and the media have portrayed him to be. In fact, the man who might have been a victim, given the circumstances, could actually be the perpetrator of the crime that has brought untold suffering to a family riddled with dark secrets.

Sherrie Lueder’s retelling of this family’s history is masterful.
