Tommy's neighbor Miss Ellie also comes to the park. She brings lemonade and cookies and a dog biscuit for Milo. Miss Ellie speaks about robots and anthills and Tommy finds conversing with her fun and interesting. One day when Miss Ellie sees Tommy, she feels he is sad. Tommy tells her how much he misses his Grandma Betty. Miss Ellie tells him how grandmas in heaven and grandmas on earth can communicate. She also tells him that she is a member of the Top Secret Grandmas Communication Club and how grandmas send down magic bubbles with hugs and kisses while he and Milo are sleeping
