What happens when you mix spirituality and sci-fi together? You get Peter Koziar's Holy War (Book 2 of The Galactic Redemption Series). He takes us on a journey, showing us how everyone can have their own view of god/God, spirituality and dealing with the enemy, but the outcome may be different or clash with each other. Meet the D’linwaa, peaceful aliens resembling a hamster with tentacles for fingers, and the Norgratz which resemble a reptile but are somewhat smaller than the D’linwaa. What happens when these two alien groups come to Earth, bringing their beliefs? Who will the humans believe, who will they align with, and will they have enough faith to turn things around?

I found Holy War interesting because of the intermingling of spirituality and sci-fi. The title caught my attention and vaguely reminded me of the Left Behind Series. It has its nuances of spirituality but not as heavy as the Left Behind Series and from a different angle. Just as in life, we can come from different races, nationalities and backgrounds but a commonality could be our spiritual walk, beliefs and prayer life.

I liked how Peter Koziar presented in Holy War the use of technology, young adults, cultural and linguistic experts, scientists, engineers - all working for a common goal....to fight spiritual warfare (aka spiritual war). But here’s the twist - someone defects to the other side, maybe one or more. Pick up a copy to find out who and where.
