Gus and Jack watch the kids getting into the yellow school bus every day and they are envious of them and the fun they have traveling on the colorful bus. They hope to be on it someday. When the driver gets out and leaves the door open, Gus and Jack get into the bus and drive away on an entertaining and fun road trip. They decide to go and pick up their gang in Gus's bus. They slow down when they see their friend Lee and ask him to hop in. Then they see Roy up ahead and pick him up next. At the next stop, they pick up Stan. The ride is amazing. They reach the bridge and realize it is closed. How does their road trip end? Yippee, honk, honk! Let us join Gus and the gang on this trip to see what happens.

Hop On That Bus, Gus: A Grand Adventure Inspired by the Kaine Family Dog by Kaine and Duds is the fun and adventurous story of Gus taking off on the yellow school bus and going on his dream road trip with his friends. The illustrations are as delightful as the characters and their adventure and give a good pace and movement to the story. It is a story for all those children who love adventure and the fun things woven into the story will bring a smile to the faces of adults too. This story is good for read-aloud sessions in classrooms, school libraries, and homes.
