How To Save The Constitution: Restoring the Principles of Liberty is a non-fiction work of political consideration penned by co-authors Paul B. Skousen and W. Cleon Skousen. Paul is the primary author, building on the work of his father to expand and explore further the central topic of discussion, namely the U.S. Constitution which founded America. Creating a comparative of the historical intentions of the Framers to the current governmental downfall and bending of those intentions, Skousen guides readers through the original reading of both this and the Declaration of Independence with the idea that a few well informed citizens can work towards a better future for the U.S.A.

I feel this work would prove an excellent resource in current governmental and political debates in universities and classrooms, particularly for its strict attention to detail in the original historical intentions of the development of policy and law for the independent United States of America. Author Paul B. Skousen is highly committed to honoring the teachings of his father, W. Cleon Skousen, distinguishing careful differences between laws which suit the ruling classes and those which empower and uplift the people who make that nation what it is. The prose is well formed, direct but not pushy, and accepting of all peoples in its attempts to reform what should constitute freedom and law across the nation of America. Overall, How To Save The Constitution: Restoring the Principles of Liberty does exactly what it promises, and would be a valuable read for citizens looking to promote positive change.
