Mark Dawson is a mechanical engineering student and also a songwriter who, during the summer, hopes to have time to promote his songs. However, things take a turn for the worse when he is hit by a car. As he lies in the street, Jeff Adkins, a deputy sheriff, notices recordings of Mark's songs on the ground next to him and steals them in hopes of using them for his gain. While Mark is in a coma, his girlfriend, Lora, spends time by his bedside singing his songs, and Jeff's girlfriend, Ruth, an RN at the hospital, monitors the situation. How will this story end? T R Comstock will reveal it to you in If Ya Wanna Know.

If Ya Wanna Know is a short but valuable story. Comstock tells an original story, which I have never heard before; how often do you read about a mechanical engineering student who is also a songwriter? In these few pages, we witness twists and turns with Mark's accident and a deputy sheriff who steals the recordings; suspense as we wonder if Mark will wake up from his coma; and above all, we are curious to find out if justice will prevail or if Jeff will get away with it. I liked that the song lyrics are included, together with the links to listen to them; it is a very unusual but enjoyable way to read and listen to a book. I recommend it to all who are inspired by out-of-the-ordinary books.

I loved reading If Ya Wanna Know because it is unique and it had an interesting plot line. T R Comstock perfectly balances the music and storytelling to present a heartwarming tale about a man trying to fulfill his dreams. Mark has a fantastic personality. His love for music and engineering makes him a relatable character because his stance to achieve success in both fields depicts what many people face today. All the chapters have songs seamlessly written into the story, and Comstock provides web links for each piece. I am glad to report that all the links work. The songs are beautiful and add a new dimension to the story. Brilliant work.

If Ya Wanna Know: Original Songs and Links to YouTube Woven into a Story of Suspense by T.R. Comstock is the perfect definition of a dog-eat-dog society where people are too selfish to care about anyone but themselves. Mark Dawson is a mechanical engineering graduate student awaiting word concerning his proposal to the airforce. He also works hard to promote his music, involving relationships, family, and life. Later, he is invited to work on a project with his friend Rocky. They decide to celebrate and end up at the Red Fox Inn, where Mark also performs his songs. After a few days, he is to head to Nashville but cannot seem to get a lift to his destination. Mark is knocked down by a speeding car and left to lie near the roadside. This incident sets him up for tough days ahead, fighting for his life and facing the uncertainty of his recordings' copyright.

If Ya Wanna Know by T.R. Comstock reveals his characters’ traits as those that reflect our society. This helps us to be vigilant about the people around us. Comstock uses a steady pace that gives us ample time to connect and empathize with the characters and fully experience the turn of events as they play out. Every song the characters sing has lyrics and links on YouTube so you can listen to and experience Mark’s musical talent. This story is relevant to every reader, as it demonstrates the evil in society, which is often disguised as good deeds.
