Author Biography

Annette G. Anders grew up in Germany with a love for books, music, and traveling. In 1998, she and her husband moved to the United States, where they raised their son and added a goofy boxer, Ecco, to the family.

Like many others, Annette dreamed of writing a novel one day, but the inspiration to sit down and bring something to paper didn’t come until the summer of 2019, when she found herself with nothing to read, which is rare.

Sitting in her backyard, she wondered if a book—or even one sentence—can have a life-altering impact on us. She imagined a woman mulling over a book and what it meant to her, and Annette wanted to know who gave the book to her, and with that, the idea for her debut novel, Turn Back Time, was born. Since then, Annette hasn’t stopped writing, because some of her other characters have a story to tell as well!

If she can’t travel and visit new places, her favorite pastimes include reading, photography, and spending time with family and friends.

In Due Time is the second novel in The Full Circle Series by Annette G. Anders. Naomi Winters is ready for love. She loves Revan, always has, and now she believes it is time to make him realize she is the right woman for him. He thinks of her as a tomboy, the friend who he can rely on. Revan, a photojournalist, is dedicated to his career, but he cannot deny the attraction he has for the woman he considered a good friend all his 35 years. However, things are slowly changing as Naomi shakes Revan to his core. The attraction is sizzling between them; it is only a matter of time before the tension boils over, and they act on their attraction. But who will take the first step? Can Naomi and Revan be more than just friends?

I am mad at myself for not discovering this series sooner. Author Annette G. Anders took some very common tropes and made these her own. I am so impressed by the author’s flow. She gave a solid plot; she gave a background to all her characters and allowed readers to feel invested in the story from the get-go. I think starting the novel with Revan’s point of view is a great way to begin the story. It set the tone right and showed how Naomi’s attraction to him is not one-sided. There is a lot of pining and angst in the story, but it is handled exceptionally well. To be honest, I was not too fond of Frank and the way he treated Naomi, but that brought out Revan’s protective instincts and showed that he cared. In Due Time is a very entertaining and great novel to read on a rainy day!

Naomi, a successful travel agent, had been in love with Revan for over ten years. Revan, a successful photojournalist, felt the same about her, but there were a few obstacles. They grew up together, and Revan regarded her as a sister; a line which he swore never to cross. Scared of each other’s rejection, they kept their feelings to themselves. However, as they got older, and their friends started finding their happily-ever-afters, something had to give. Everyone saw what they felt for each other, except them. Someone was also in the background manipulating situations around Naomi and Revan. But will they take the hint? Will Naomi and Revan ever find their way to each other? Find out In Due Time a beautiful book written by Annette G. Anders.

In Due Time is an excellent contemporary romance novel laced with humor. Annette G. Anders has written an inspiring story with depth, purpose, and fun. Themes like patience, love, trust, sacrifice, compromise, and more made the book engaging. I loved the pace of this novel as it gradually progressed without a rush. The major characters were adequately cushioned by family and friends, which made the plot more wholesome and realistic. The unique writing style and absence of grammatical errors scored the book more points with me. I enjoyed the dialogue consistency and the absence of fluff. The character development was also superb, especially Naomi’s. She had to name him Shutterbug? Hahaha! I cringed every time she called him so, but I loved Nugget. This is the second book in the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Anyone who loves a laid-back romantic story will appreciate this book.

In Due Time: The Full Circle Series Book 2 by Annette G. Anders is an engaging work of fiction about taking a chance on your dreams. The main character Naomi Winters is beginning to realize that she loves Revan enough to marry him and make a life with him, but the problem is, what they've had is a platonic friendship, and to him, she's the girl next door. She's fallen in love with other guys, but things don't work out because they don't measure up to Revan. Raven is so caught up in his photojournalism career that he doesn't see what he could have with Naomi, and the idea of marriage and children don't fit into his lifestyle, so she's out to open his eyes. He likes their friendship and doesn't want to lose it, so is there anything that can change his mindset? Would they really make the perfect couple?

Anders has crafted a story that grabs you on the first page. I like that she wastes no time in presenting the relationship conflict/dilemma for her readers to enjoy. The fact that Naomi and Revan have been friends since the age of thirteen is indeed an obstacle and is the cornerstone of this tale. The writing is breezy and conversational, with lively banter, teasing, and good, detailed descriptions and character development. We learn who the characters are and their backstories, and although you can see both sides of the situation--Naomi wants Revan, and he doesn't want their friendship to change--you still want a resolution that will make both of them happy. A lot of heat builds between them, but no spoilers here. In Due Time: The Full Circle Series Book 2 by Annette G. Anders puts a contemporary twist on a familiar theme, and the result is fresh and energetic.

In Due Time: A Novel is the second book in The Full Circle Series by Annette G. Anders and can be enjoyed as a standalone novel. Revan Forrester is a handsome young man, a photojournalist who loves his cameras and accessories, and he surrounds himself with loyal friends. Naomi Winters is one of his best friends — in fact, he loves her like a sister. While Naomi has a boyfriend, Frank, she knows that Revan is the right man for her. Her infatuation with him is no secret, either. Everyone in their group of friends knows it — except Revan, who is stunned when she dares to tell him: “You’re the perfect man for me.” But Naomi is determined to take their relationship beyond the best-friend zone. With his career on the line and other distractions, can Revan embrace this new adventure?

Annette G. Anders’ novel is expertly written and the first thing that caught my attention is how she writes about the friendship between the characters and their circles of friends. The world-building is well-crafted, and it reflects the world that young people navigate today. The characters are relatable, each of them coming off in the story as convincing. The voice is compellingly strong and the author uses exquisite prose with her gift for exploring the emotions of characters to build scenes that are real and engaging. In Due Time: A Novel can be read as a contemporary romance or a tale about wanting something and resolutely going for it. It is an enjoyable story.

In Due Time by Annette G. Anders is book two in The Full Circle Series, a novel that presents characters I loved, especially Naomi Winters. Naomi has always known that the man she wants in her life is Revan Forrester, her long time best friend. Even when she is in a relationship with Frank, she doesn’t hide her infatuation for Revan, so when she tells Revan that he is the right guy for her, he is dismissive at first. Of course, he has always thought of Naomi as a sister and loved her that way. But Naomi is not giving up. Can she help Revan see her more than just a friend and sister?

This is a passionate tale about two friends, their dreams, and an adventure that can either build or break them. Annette G. Anders has a lyrical style of writing and she portrays the natural way her characters speak and react to situations in a way that creates familiar scenes for readers. The crisp prose draws the reader into the story and the strong characters increase their interest as they want to discover what will happen to Naomi and Revan, and Frank. As the story moves on, it becomes suspenseful, emotionally engaging as the reader experiences the vast range of human emotions. The points of view are well-articulated, the plot deftly handled, and humor never lacking. Many female readers will identify with Naomi’s dilemma — falling for a guy who is both dense and clueless about how we feel because he sees us as a sister. In Due Time: A Novel is a good read for fans of romance and stories with believable and compelling characters.
