Into the Fold is the third book in the Kan Savasci Cycle series by Chase Blackwood. Aeden's worries weren’t soothed when things went downhill once again. Just getting the chance to breathe a little freely, Aeden was looking forward to learning magic. However, his future had far more troubles than he anticipated. Of all the adversaries he had faced in the past, they had nothing on the ones he had to face now or else everyone would perish. Fail and people would surely die and if he succeeded in becoming the Kan Savasci, all would be well. But Aeden was supposed to be just a guy learning magic, he was nothing special, but now he was the man who could save all. Wielding magic was not easy and Aeden had no choice but to “face his destiny.” Would he be able to fulfill his destiny?

Reading Into the Fold was like watching a very fascinating story unfold. The descriptions were impeccably visual and incredibly well written. Chase Blackwood’s writing style made it easy for me to picture what was happening and hear everything the characters were saying. Aeden’s journey to embracing magic, learning it, and making it a part of himself was believable and at once relatable. He was a young man, just looking forward to a normal life, but the future had other plans for him. I admit, the number of characters did confuse me in the beginning, but it got better as the story progressed. Out of all the characters, apart from Aeden, I enjoyed Thea the most. Her background story was interesting, it gave me enough information to want to know more about it and look forward to what her future held for her and the story. I loved that the character names weren’t hard to pronounce and remember. Considering that this is the first novel I have read in the series, I am hooked. This is a long yet very entertaining story and I can’t wait for more.
