Inviting Muslims to Christ: A Clear Path to Salvation by Randall Ireland is an interesting book with a strong appeal to both Christians and Muslims, a book that establishes a surprising difference between the core message of Christianity and that of Islam. In this book, the author explores the concept of God in both religions and shows readers how the idea of God is at the heart of both Christianity and Islam and how it creates the huge difference between the two religions. For readers who think that Muslims and Christians worship the same God, this book will demonstrate a contrary view. While the Christian God is believed to be Triune, that is Three-Persons-in One, the Muslims believe that there is only One God called “Allah.”

This book was written by a Christian Minister who brings a lot of his experience in faith to the writing. Randall Ireland does a great job in exploring the differences and similarities between Islam and Christianity, discussing topics like salvation, the Godhead, the characteristic traits of the message in each of the two religions, and beliefs that are common in the two. This book has a strong appeal to Christians who want to understand what Muslims believe. I loved the simplicity with which the author comments about both scriptures, picking passages that are very relevant to the understanding of Islam and providing insights for dialogue and conversation with Muslims. I found this book to be informative, devoid of unnecessary jargon, and easy-to-read. Inviting Muslims to Christ: A Clear Path to Salvation is a gift of faith that equally serves as a tool for Christian readers to easily engage with Muslims. It brings a lot of clarity into our understanding of the core beliefs of Islam and its practices and what makes it different from Christianity.

Inviting Muslims to Christ: A Clear Path to Salvation by Randall Ireland is a spiritual guide that outlines the similarities between Islam and Christianity, the fundamental differences, and how Christians can reach out to Muslim brothers and sisters with respect and more than just a basic knowledge of their faiths. Ireland employs scripture and doctrine from both sides of the aisle in this compilation of theology, using biblical context in the approach to outreach and the Surahs, Hadiths, and Quranic verse in order for Christians to provide what is believed to be informed response. The end-goal in the presentation of Ireland's arguments as he details throughout his writing is to effectively profess the Christian faith and bring Muslims into the fold of Christian salvation.

It is clear that Randall Ireland put a great deal of thought, research, and effort into compiling his book Inviting Muslims to Christ. From the Christian point of view, there are a great many explanations of biblical scripture and their meaning that Ireland is able to fully flesh out and present in an easy to understand way. He is clearly a scholar of Christian theology and it shows in his writing. I did find many fundamental discrepancies in even the most basic Islamic provisions outlined by Ireland, but as this is a book that revolves around faith, and faith itself is entirely subjective, I am able to overlook those discrepancies in order to focus solely on the book's literary merit. Ireland's writing is concise, and his point of view is easy to understand and follow. I imagine this book will be well received by those who enjoy Christian theology.

Inviting Muslims to Christ: A Clear Path to Salvation by Randall Ireland is an enlightening book for Christians and Muslims alike. Using the Bible and the Quran, the author compares the texts to illustrate similarities and differences between the two faiths, while giving Christians tools and Bible verses to use when talking to Muslims about the Christian faith and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Ireland's main point is that while Christians believe in the Trinity--God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and Christ the Holy Spirit--Muslims worship Allah, who is one supreme being and has no equal. The book goes on to display side-by-side text from both holy books and is designed to allow readers to study and take notes. Judaism and its foundational role in the faiths are also covered by the author. You will also find a lot of verses from the Bible and the Quran, as well as the author's interpretation of the verses.

Written from a Christian, biblical perspective, Ireland stresses the theme of salvation through Jesus Christ, what it means, and how it differs from Islam, but also how the two are similar. This would be a good book for anyone unfamiliar with the faiths who are wanting to learn about both, but also for the Christian or Muslim who want to communicate in a more informed way on each of the faiths. The author's view is his own interpretation, and all readers may not believe or worship the same way or even agree with the contents of this book. But that is what learning is all about. And, in the end, faith is a personal choice. One can either believe or not believe as a Christian or Muslim. This book tries to be respectful of both faiths. Inviting Muslims to Christ: A Clear Path to Salvation by Randall Ireland is a tool for Christians to use when witnessing to Muslim friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
