When we try to be kind but receive a negative response, our feelings can be hurt. It is harder for children. We must nevertheless be polite and understand that a refusal is also a valid answer. Anna D Intia explores this theme in It's Okay to Say No. The story concerns Noah and his friend Kali. He offers her chocolate, but Kali refuses politely and smiles to show him that it's okay. This surprised and confused Noah, who could not understand what was going on and insisted that Kali accept the chocolate. She continued with her firm refusal. Noah tried to imagine the possible causes and eventually asked her, discovering a perfectly valid reason.

It's Okay to Say No is a beautiful tale. Anna D Intia shares a story of friendship with characters who are polite and show good manners at all times. Noah's situation can happen to anyone, and we can all learn from it. That is why I recommend this book because it will help teach children how to socialize. Iñigo Intia does an excellent job with the images, using bright colors, and showing attractive scenes. In some cases, the backgrounds reflect the characters' feelings. The book is an excellent way of learning to accept other people's decisions and understand their feelings. Through this story, children will learn to express themselves openly in a way that is sincere and natural.
