The shiny box on the table was new and red in color. It had handles and a lock. Jenny's father said he had something for her. He said he had been waiting for a while to give it to her and she was old enough to use it. He said it was time for her to learn how to use the tools inside the red box. Jenny's father opened the red toolbox and started with the screwdriver. He told her it was a useful tool and could be used to twist screws in wood or put toys together. Jenny's father showed her how to use the hammer, the drill, and wrenches. Next was the different types of saws and Jenny's father showed her how to use those tools in safe and helpful ways. Jenny learned the names of all the tools and also how she could be safe while using them.
