Anhia did something bad when she was a teenager and she is not able to recover from it. Her past digressions led to her having one best-selling novel to her name, but since then she has not been able to write. She spends her days people watching, thinking up crazy ideas, but she isn’t able to write anything. However, her interest is piqued when a man comes to her with a proposition. But can she trust him? Can they work together and achieve what they want?

Justice for Belle by Didi Oviatt is a heart-racing, action-packed novella that had me on the edge of my seat and begging for more. I loved it for many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is that I never saw the climax coming. Boy, did that surprise me! The fast pace, the exceptionally well-constructed storyline and the impressive characters had me reading on and on and never wanting to stop. The narrative is smooth like butter; I breezed through the story and loved every single moment of it.

Ahnia is one of those characters that you cannot help but feel sorry for yet at the same time, you want her to get off her butt and start rebuilding her life. Her story evoked such strange emotions in me and I wanted to shake her at times. Mac, on the other hand, is a pretty awesome man. He is cool, calm, collected and very handsome. But there is more to him than just his vanity and he proves it time and time again. Regardless to say, I simply adored him. An exceptionally well-written story!
