Aloha. Do you know what Aloha means? According to Phil Villatora in Kauai Stories by Pamela Varma Brown, it has several meanings, from taking time to be present with someone to taking a deep breath to enjoying your life. Phil is one of the many authors that lent his beautiful experiences of being a part of the Kauai culture in Kauai Stories by Pamela Varma Brown. Pamela offers personal stories from over thirty authors with the beautiful backdrop of life in Kauai. Each story is beautifully crafted, as if it was a part of creating a luxurious quilt as was done and told by Jane Vegas in her story, Quilting Hawaiian Style. Each chapter named something both elegant and personal about the authors, as depicted in their personal experiences of how Kauai has become an instrumental part in their lives.
