Twenty-five years after a woman vanishes, her purse discovered buried in a garden wreaks havoc in the community with deadly consequences in the thrilling murder mystery, Kill Her Twice (The Second Death of Kallita Prewitt) by G.A. Pickstock. Everyone in the small town of Clarksville hated Kallita Prewitt. When she left work one night and never came home, the community was relieved she was gone, and not one soul missed her. In fact, everyone hoped she was dead. Over two decades later, Emily James found Kallita's purse while digging a flower garden. Determined to return it to its rightful owner, Emily began questioning her neighbors. Puzzled that no one wanted to help her, Emily turns to the charming and sexy Detective Sergeant Colm O'Byrne. Colm, however, is commanded by his superior to hand the purse to Lost and Found. Despite the charge to leave the search for Kallita alone, Colm and Emily continue their inquiry of Kallita's family and acquaintances. However, when people who knew Kallita start dying, the missing person's case takes a new turn. It seems as if someone is killing off prospective witnesses. Is it the person who did away with Kallita? Or it something or someone more sinister?

Brimming with suspense, Kill Her Twice (The Second Death of Kallita Prewitt) by G.A. Pickstock is a spectacular murder mystery with the chilling aspects of a psychological thriller. With a raving psychopath as the ultimate antagonist, the story took me on a breathtaking ride. Superbly written, the story opens with a shocking murder scene and ultimately builds to a startling and electrifying conclusion. Dramatic elements of insanity, jealousy, hatred, and conspiracy create an astonishing and spellbinding plot. It is a phenomenal suspense novel that will captivate everyone who relishes murder mysteries with a psychological twist.
