In Law & Disorder by Liv Arnold, Juliet Jackson finds herself butting heads with Sergeant Jesse Burns over the possible motivations of her client’s criminal behavior. She hated how arrogant, egotistical and full of himself Jesse could be but had to admit the man was devastatingly sexy. After court, Juliet went home and got herself into an extremely embarrassing predicament that was discovered by none other than her arch-nemesis Sergeant Burns. Helping her through her dilemma while flinging insults and sarcastic remarks at one another made Juliet wonder if there might be more to this man than what she had originally thought. Would he tell anyone about the embarrassing moments? Were their insults at one another turning into a form of electrically charged foreplay?

Law & Disorder by Liv Arnold is a wild and naughty ride through the rivalry between a lawyer and a police sergeant. Their interactions had never been what anyone could consider friendly but take a quick turn down a seductive road after Jesse finds Juliet in a very awkward position. I love how Arnold describes the most intimate details with imaginative clarity as Jesse's and Juliet’s rivaling views turn into reveling in one another. The way the author brings out the best in her characters by allowing them to inflict their sarcasm and passions on one another is a fun-loving dance of words that any adult reader can enjoy and appreciate. I recommend Law & Disorder to anyone of a mature age (18+) who enjoys a quick read full of wit, seduction, and humor.
