Author Biography

Jeff grew up as a devout Christian and after beginning a career as a police officer became happily married to Suzanne in 1987. In 1988 that all changed due to the death of his mother from cancer. Bitterness and anger drove Jeff away from God for over 22 years resulting in depression, alcoholism, thoughts of suicide, loss of career and a near failed marriage.

In 2014 Jeff was nearly killed in a head on collision and as a result of that crash nearly died from a pulmonary embolism. Jeff's heart stopped and he died and went to Hell. What he saw there changed his life forever after God gave him a second chance at life.

Doctors told Jeff, "Only 1 out of 20 people survive what he went through and that they did not know how he was still here."

Through it all, Jeff's wife Suzanne stayed by his side, praying for God to intervene then nursing him back to health. Her strong will and devotion helped Jeff recover and together they formed JNS Ministries to witness the wonderful message of the Cross of Christ!

Jeff and Suzanne decided to write about their story in "Until Death Do You Part: A Story of Faith, Hope, and , Love." This real life testimony is not only inspirational but life changing!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. II Corinthians 5:17.

Growing up is a lot of work. There’s so much to learn. Little Jeffery has to learn about manners, like saying please and thank you and helping others when the need arises. He has to learn to be excited about going to church and learning about God, as he is excited about going to a baseball game. He has some pretty challenging questions swirling around his head, like where is heaven and why doesn’t everyone believe in God. These are difficult questions for adults to comprehend, let alone explain to a child. But Jeffery listens carefully to everything his parents and other adults teach him and he’s learning how to be a good gentleman and a good Christian.

Little Jeffery by Jeff Coulter is a collection of short stories about a young boy named Little Jeffery. The stories deal with issues and questions most children have from time to time. The stories are told with compassion and attention to detail, explaining sometimes complex Christian values in a simple way that a young child will understand. Little Jeffery is encouraged to ask questions and, when he receives the answers, he learns how to act on what he’s learned, like giving a young boy in the mall, someone he doesn’t even know, the shiny new truck his father just bought for him. Why? Because he overheard the boy asking his mommy for a new truck, too, and the mommy responded that they couldn’t afford it. Giving to others, helping others, thinking of others before oneself are all valuable lessons of faith for children to learn and foster.
