In today’s challenging world, sometimes we get lost in the quagmire of the stresses and strains of everyday life, despite our best efforts to think positively. This comprehensive guide strips away the cultural and religious beliefs we hold to reveal the pure truth of who we are. With these easy to follow techniques, you will discover the tools to enable you to finally see the clear path to self-awareness. Areas covered include how you can live in accordance to your personal ethics, where did your beliefs originate from and how you can use them to your advantage, formulate strategies to break damaging habits, and deal effectively with guilt and self-criticism. Also included in each chapter is a personal journal to help you uncover and tackle areas of improvement. Finally, release yourself from the baggage of your past and move forward to a brighter, more positive future.

Colleen Jiron, Ph.D., the author of Living the Real Tree of Life: Personal Journal Edition is not only very talented and knowledgeable in her subject, but she has the ability to answer the ‘yes, but what about?’ questions that most other books in this genre do not address. There were so many sections of this book that helped me have a clearer vision of my belief system, and how this is affecting my progress in life. The techniques such as the Five Step Salvation towards positivity, the Bodacious Breathing and the invaluable guide on improving your attention span were some of the highlights. The absolute pivotal moment for me while reading this book was the questionnaire to determine if you are living in a personal prison; this was such an eye-opening moment for me.

This is a book I will most certainly be recommending. The following quote from the book will become my personal mantra: 'Acceptance is knowing when you’ve given it your all, done what you can, been the bigger person, tried your last-ditch effort, fought the good fight, and exhausted all your options. You’re stepping back at that moment and letting the field of potential miracles come into fruition and recognizing the miracles when they come.'
