In Masters of Life on Meaningful Living: Conversations Between Tom, Guru Dick and Guru Harry, Tommy S. W. Wong shares two conversations about life. Tom’s conversation with Guru Dick is all about money and power. Guru Dick believes life is about accumulating all the material possessions one can. His view of a meaningful life is based on control and wealth. It does not matter how you achieve it if it satisfies you. Guru Dick believes it is acceptable to be cruel to others if it benefits you. He also says that it is fine to take advantage of the poor because they are sub-human. On the other hand, Tom’s conversation with Guru Harry follows the directly opposite view. Guru Harry teaches that it is best to live life spiritually and help others.

There are different philosophies of life. Tommy S. W. Wong shares two significant perspectives in Masters of Life on Meaningful Living. Along with the conversations about the two opposing views, Tommy includes excerpts from his other writings. He talks about how to love and be kind. He shares his opinions about life and how to live it meaningfully. Tommy includes the Great Spirit as a part of this. The style of writing is conversational. While reading this book, you feel like a fly on the wall eavesdropping on Tom’s conversation. Tom asks the questions that most people would like to ask a wise guide. Bottom line, Tom shows two opposite views on life and living a meaningful life lets the spiritual path lead and control.
