Memoir of Life, Love, Hardship, & Spirituality - A Collection of Traditional and Free Verse Poetry - Special Edition by Kaitlyn Millet is a compilation of poems written for teenagers and young adults. The poems cover sexuality, personal emotions, fear, love, hate, spirituality, and Christianity. Ranging in length, each poem expresses a personal experience that many teenagers could easily relate to.

Kaitlyn has poured her heart, soul, and creativity into her writings. It is difficult to read each poem only once, as to grasp their true meaning one must actually experience each sentence. Because her poems express emotions that just about every human being feels, it's easy enough to relate to them. Temptation is rife in our day and age, and for many youngsters their hearts are broken and morals lost before they're even too sure about what they are doing. Kaitlyn's compilation of poems could serve as a guide or reference; an eye-opener to teenagers and young adults. Some of the poems are borderline 'devastating'; to think that a young girl only had her pen and paper to help her through such times, whereas others are humorous, light, and warm. Also included is a beautiful poem about Fairies, which can only be described as wonderful and true. Overall, Kaitlyn's poems are powerful and honest. She expresses what many youngsters may feel too ashamed to express, and covers issues that many parents would feel too embarrassed to discuss with their children.
