Michael Tanzer, the author of Michaelism: My POV on Life with Autism, has autism. Too many people mistakenly think that someone who falls on the Autism Spectrum Disorder is not able to accomplish anything. Michael is here to show the world that he, as well as others who have autism, is very capable of doing many wonderful and useful activities. He has accomplished much in his short life. To show it can be done, he has authored a book explaining how he—because each person with autism is different—looks at and understands life. This book will have you rejoicing with Michael with each accomplishment. It will also help you understand others that you might know who struggle with being placed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder list. After reading this book, you will look at the differently-abled in a new light of understanding and acceptance.

Having dealt with my son who has Asperger’s (on the ASD scale) for the past forty years, I can testify that Michael Tanzer has completed quite an accomplishment in authoring his book, Michaelism. Too many allow a diagnosis of Autism to become a barrier to achieving goals in life. Not Michael. He has met the challenge and has excelled. Michael’s goal is to serve as an advocate for those with ASD. He has made a fantastic start with this book. He shares his life and how he understands the events in life with all his readers. He is transparent and open. His words will help any parent of a child—young or adult—who falls on the ASD. Michael is to be applauded and thanked for caring so much for others. If you know someone with autism, this possibly may be the most important book you ever read on the subject. Loved this book. Very informative and a good resource.
