In Mother Stella, Ryan Baxter guides readers to a spiritual, enlightening path by relating Mother Stella's life story and her message of love. The book starts at the very beginning: Stella's birth and childhood in Iceland, where she explores the beauty of her country and shares wonderful memories with her family and friends. After marrying an American, Stella moved to the US and acclimated to her new environment despite the surprising cultural differences. She later discovered yoga, meditation, and vegetarianism and began to delve into profound spiritual lessons offered by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. Her worldview was transformed. Ryan presents Mother Stella's fascinating perception of science, materialism, love, compassion, technology, belief systems, motherhood, and yoga. He also shares stories from his search for answers and his spiritual quest in India.

I spent a good time rereading, bookmarking, and pausing to reflect on the multiple gems I received from the book. One comment I found very relatable points to how old songs originate from a place of love, but today's songs result from greed. It inspired me to stop consuming things that lower my chakras. The book's intricate stories also allow for a profound understanding of Stella's loving, overflowing personality. And it's clear that Ryan embodies a welcoming, free-flowing energy as it seeps smoothly through his lyrical words—whether he's detailing a travel experience, recalling a thoughtful conversation, or discussing mind-blowing concepts from a referenced book. Mother Stella is a greatly transformational book that contains simple yet effective messages about inner riches, love, and listening to the melodies of the heart. Readers who seek enlightenment will be guided to it softly and confidently by this book.
