Get Well & Stay Well With Asian Bio-Energetic Therapy is the sub-title of Joanne Klepal's book, Natural Healing Techniques. Who doesn't want to 'get well and stay well'? Good health is the number one requirement for success and happiness in virtually every aspect of life. And yet it eludes so many. Anxiety, allergies, diabetes, fatigue, insomnia, indigestion, migraines, inflammation, irritable bowel syndrome, menstrual cramps, stress, high blood pressure... The list of common ailments goes on and on. Medicine cabinets fill up with prescription drugs that may address a symptom but often create other problems. The cost of health care continues to soar. Western medicine, despite astonishing advances, continues to fail many of us when it comes to maintaining overall good health and vitality.

Joanne Klepal reminds us that our bodies have an amazing ability to self-heal. But we need to continually service our mental, physical and emotional health. Joanne Klepal shares with us the natural healing techniques she learned during her travels through South East Asia. She provides a basic introduction to the methods used in South-East Asia to achieve holistic wellness. She describes natural methods of improving health, maintaining and balancing body and mind, and supporting the body's innate ability to self-heal. And she explains complementary and alternative ways to reduce dependency on medications, detailing simple and effective natural techniques that fit in with today's busy lifestyle.

Joanne Klepal also provides case-study evidence of the effectiveness of therapies, and some of her stories are startling. Some historical perspective and details of how Joanne and others came to learn about Asian Bio-Energetic Therapy add color and interest to the book. While limited detail is provided about many of the therapies mentioned, the information in this book is sufficient to give the reader a broad understanding and to excite enough interest so that many readers will explore further. As one who believes that ancient therapies used in Eastern countries often achieve better outcomes than the pharmaceuticals prescribed by Western medical practitioners, and who has seen conclusive evidence that positive energy and simple lifestyle changes can dramatically improve health, I urge anyone who is battling one or more of the ailments that are so common in Western society to read this book and consider the potential of the techniques described. And I recommend it also to anyone who wants to ensure they and/or their loved ones maintain optimum health and energy.
