In North Bound by K.A. Finn, in an effort to get away from civilization for the holidays, Scarlet decides to spend time at the cabin her grandparents left her. She has everything she needs to enjoy the peace and quiet until a crash landing in a snowstorm changes her plans. She finds a man dressed like Santa near what looks like the wreckage of a sleigh and pulls him inside, out of the snowstorm raging outside. Demons and mythological figures have joined forces to take Nick out. It’s obvious that the Christmas season has lost the magic it once held for her, and he is losing his own magic. Is it her or the loss of the device he can’t seem to find that’s making his magic slip? Can he get it together and stop the demons before Christmas and everything else is ruined for good?

North Bound: Twisted Legends Book 1 is a somewhat fast-paced story that has all the entertainment I love from romance, action, and the mythological world. I genuinely enjoyed the idea of Santa being much more than just the guy who delivers presents to a sleeping world on Christmas Eve. The characters are familiar figures like Santa, Jack Frost, Damon, and Kane the Nutcracker, which give this story an added layer of flair and fun. I recommend North Bound by K. A. Finn to adults over eighteen who enjoy a great story with unexpected twists and turns that make a book impossible to put down. I look forward to seeing what this writer comes up with next.
