Oh Susannah: Things That Go Bump by Carole P. Roman is a thrilling children's book about a young girl named Susannah. Susannah was invited to a sleepover at her best friend Lola's house, but she doesn't want to accept. Lola's house is old, and makes a lot of weird bumping and thumping noises. However, Lola seemed really excited about the sleepover, and her mom had already said that she would go, and so she didn't have much of a choice. However, Lola's brother, Kai, was teasing her with tales of ghosts that haunt the house. Will she face her fears and survive a night at her friend's house?

I really enjoyed reading Oh Susannah: Things That Go Bump by Carole P. Roman. The book is extremely well written and very descriptive. The story is relatable because many people believe that a particular house is haunted, or they have the same fears as Susannah. The story is short and sweet and is very exciting. The characters are extremely realistic and likeable because they face their fears, are smart, kind, and learn to speak about their problems. The story is engaging and thrilling. The descriptions are very vivid and so are the scenes. The story will keep readers wondering what will happen next. It is sure to bring a smile to the reader's face as it has many funny parts. I would definitely recommend this to all young readers.
