On the Horizon by Nicholas Miran is a Christian non-fiction book that uncovers the corruption and ineffectiveness of all governments, the very people in whose hands we have placed our future. Those who are paid to govern our country are in fact the creators of poverty, crime, and war. The two subjects which are considered taboo in social conversations are discussed at length, as well as the social erosion of humanity. Author Nicholas Miran has included biblical references as well as supporting information and various testimonies to show the origins of corrupt, immoral, and unethical politicians. “God did not create a world of chaos, suffering, and violence. From His attributes of love, wisdom, and justice, He will use his great power to bring his original purpose for humankind to fruition.”

Reading On the Horizon certainly is an exceptional experience. This thought-provoking book is not only informative but also answers many questions that most of us have been asking, as well as questions that nobody knew needed to be answered. I especially enjoyed the fact that the book is a comfortable, easy read. The reader does not need higher education to understand the meaning of the message as the book will appeal to people from a variety of backgrounds. Nicholas Miran is a fantastic author who is clearly dedicated to his passion and is eager to share his message with the entire world. The book is professionally researched and beautifully written with interesting information and supporting references. Although the book is Christian-based, Nicholas has written it in such a way that everybody who reads it will enjoy the writing from a historical perspective. All-round, a terrific book highly recommended to readers of all ages. Hopefully, there will be similar books by Nicholas Miran.
