After building his law practice on the back of his wife, Scott began an affair with another woman. Up next, he divorced and left his wife without a tangible source of income, child support, or marriage benefits. His wife’s name was Kate, and she was back to square one. One day, at her child’s sports event, there was a mishap, and she told a seemingly harmless lie. This lie became the central bane of her existence. Nothing in Kate’s life was right. She was dealing with heartbreak, anxiety, a crappy job, targeted harassment, and a stalker. Who would believe her? However, when Kate faced the possibility of losing her children, she wouldn’t go down without a fight. Who is hell-bent on ruining Kate’s life? Find out in One Little Lie by Christopher Greyson.

When I finished reading this book, I exhaled. It was just too much! One Little Lie by Christopher Greyson is a gripping suspense-filled, crime-laden psychological novel that’s entertaining and educative. The plot was one of a kind, combining crime and social issues. Character development was so top-notch that Scott should be a case study. Kate was an astounding character, and I enjoyed watching her switch and take charge. She must possess the strength of a bull because I was in awe of her knockouts! Her frank talk with Audrey was a humbling moment. I took away some nuggets. The plot’s unpredictability had me hooked and tense. Christopher told this riveting story in style, and I enjoyed every minute. Will there be a return for Scott? I’d love to read more of Christopher Greyson's work.
