After a long week at the office, Henrik is relieved to be relaxing on the sofa with his wife, Joanna. He is just an ordinary man with an everyday life who enjoys the little things. But now his life is about to change drastically. It all starts when Henrik discovers that he originates from Zuood, a planet in the Andromeda galaxy many light years away from Earth. Things get even more complicated when he learns that Zuood is being consumed by chaos and he is the rightful heir destined to save his people. Tidus Barlow, Henrik's father's political opponent, had allied with an alien force and wiped out the Andromeda Alliance leaders. They now rule with an iron fist, and most of the people of Zuood live in poverty as the cost of living is high. Henrik has no clue as to how he can defeat Tidus, but he has a wise friend and a crew that has trained since they were young for a mission like this. Will they be enough against an enemy who will stop at nothing to continue its cruel reign? Find out in Origin Andromeda: The Beginning, Origin Series, Book 1 by Christoffer Vuolo Junros.

Origin Andromeda combines adventure, mystery, fantasy, and thriller elements. I was captivated by Christoffer Vuolo Junros' ability to create such a thrilling tale. There are exciting, fast-paced action scenes that keep intensifying as the storyline unfolds. Things get even more spellbinding as the fate of Andromeda hangs in the balance. Two formidable armies, one willing to die for a taste of freedom and the other driven by utter malice, are set to clash in the most intense battle the galaxy has seen for generations. The author gave a unique, in-depth presentation of the weapons and engineering systems in use that I found fascinating. He used likable characters like Davood, an incredible engineer, and simple, understandable terms to help integrate the new high-tech subjects into the reader's mind. I have read many sci-fi books over the years and thought I was familiar with most terms and acronyms, but I learned a few new things along the way. Everything about this novel is fantastic, and I hope to read more by this author. Terrific work.
