I decided to read Outsourcing Tips and Tricks by Dmytro Zaporozhtsev and Svitlana Zaporozhtseva because I want to start my own indie publishing business and I know I will have to outsource a lot of the work. I’m in the learning stage of the whole thing and reading everything I can in the hopes of saving money and time further along the road. I wasn’t sure if this book would be of practical use to me but, at around eighty pages, I felt it was at least worth the time it would take to read it because I read fast. I am so glad I made that decision. I learned so much and it cost me so little in time and money. I had thought Outsourcing Tips and Tricks might be on too grand a scale for the small business I imagine building for myself, but I was wrong. This is a book for any entrepreneur that is starting a venture and has no experience getting the right people for those jobs he or she chooses not to do themselves for whatever reason. This is good, practical, easy to understand advice that gives value and makes sense.

I want to point out that Outsourcing Tips and Tricks is well written in a way that any educated reader will be able to easily understand and follow. The advice and ideas are sound. The quotes from famous people are well placed and very appropriate. For me, the most valuable advice was how to find and work with people on sites such as Fiverr and Upwork. That is exactly what I needed. These tips alone made the book worth my while, but there is so much more there, and it is presented in a well-organized, easy to comprehend style that I was able to understand and appreciate. It is great to read a how-to book and really learn how to do the thing you want to do.

Outsourcing Tips and Tricks by Dmytro Zaporozhtsev and Svitlana Zaporozhtseva is all about Getting the Best Bang for Your Buck. Many businesses use freelance workers these days, not just to get work done at a fair price, but in their search for the next top designer, computer programmer, or writer. Sadly, the freelance marketplace is not always what it would seem to be. Much of it is not regulated and trying to find the right freelancer for the job is not as easy as it sounds, despite there being millions to choose from. Svitlana and Dmytro have taken the freelance market and built themselves a top-rated design agency, providing top-quality work to some of the smallest start-ups right to the major Fortune 500s. Now they bring us their tips and tricks, the expertise they have built up, and they show us how to get the best out of the freelance market, putting the power firmly back into your hands.

Outsourcing Tips and Tricks: Getting the Best Bang for Your Buck made for interesting reading from the other point of view. I do a lot of freelance work and it is difficult to find quality employers who don’t want the highest quality of work for the lowest possible price. I did learn quite a bit from this book, although it is aimed at those who are looking for freelancers and much of it comes down to building up the right relationships. I did find myself chuckling throughout the book as I recognized quite a few of the tips as being relevant to my own experiences on the freelancer platforms. Outsourcing is the way forward for many businesses and I think that this book will be invaluable. It isn’t too long, it is straightforward, and it hits directly at the heart of the problems surrounding the freelance world. A must-read for anyone thinking about hiring freelancers for outsourcing work or for anyone thinking of becoming a freelancer – it works both ways!
