I just finished reading Primeval Origins: Light of Honor, Book 2 by author Brett Vonsik, and all I can say is "Wow!" With the author doing a fantastic job of continuing the stories of Rogaan, a young warrior, and Nikki the paleontologist tied to him, this time through the eyes of Rogaan, readers will again find an exciting, thrilling and a 'grab you by the throat' kind of read that they just will not be able to put down. Again happening in a dual setting of the ancient past and the present, Rogaan will find himself in the unenviable position of battling beasts of old, tyrants, and some very inhospitable environments ... all while trying to save the future of mankind as a whole.

I very, very much enjoyed Primeval Origins: Light of Honor, Book 2. Author Brett Vonsik has done an absolutely amazing job in creating characters that readers will connect with and relate to, not always an easy feat in a work of fantasy. I, as a reader, found myself thinking of both Rogaan and Nikki long after the story was finished. If that isn't a hallmark of a great author, I don't know what is. Author Vonsik's skill in world creation is simply second to none. Readers will feel as if they can slip into the pages and experience the heart-pounding, palm-sweating action for themselves. Any reader who enjoys fantasy should absolutely read this book. I highly recommend it, and certainly hope that author Brett Vonsik is hard at work on the next installment. I, for one, will be anxiously watching for it!

Whoa! In a fast paced thrill ride of a read by author Brett Vonsik, Primeval Origins: Light of Honor, Book Two is nothing if not an exciting and must-read adventure story. Following characters that were first introduced in Vonsik's original work, the young warrior Rogaan and paleontologist Nikki, readers will be excited to find that they are now seeing the story through Rogaan's viewpoint. And what a story it is! Uniquely taking place both currently and in ancient times, the split story shows how characters in both time frames are doing all they can to work towards survival.

I really liked Primeval Origins: Light of Honor, Book Two. I felt that the author wrote a highly entertaining, well-paced, and at times, edge of your seat read that will be enjoyed by many. Characters were well presented, especially those of Rogaan and Nikki, and readers will get a real feel for what they are thinking and experiencing. While very strongly rooted in the fantasy realm, the environments were also believable, and that certainly is not always the case with works in this genre. Any reader who enjoys fantasy, action, adventure, a thrill while reading or just a plain good book should absolutely read Primeval Origins: Light of Honor, Book Two. I, for one, am looking forward to going back and reading the first book in the series, that's how much I enjoyed this one, and will certainly keep my eye out for more from the very promising author, Brett Vonsik, in the future.

Primeval Origins: Light of Honor by Brett Vonsik is an epic fantasy that will take you to the edge of time and keep you on the edge of your seat. The story is a continuation of a series and I was surprised to find that I actually liked it a lot. Everything was connected properly and I didn't have to re-read things again and again to understand what was happening. The story is about Rogaan, an ancient warrior who is taken to yet another adventure. This time it is Nikki who is going back in time to see what happened before and how the ancient fight between good and bad started. Her sacrifice saved the lives of Rogaan and Aren, but now she is plunged into the world of ancient gods and a society that is advanced, but still primitive in nature.

I have to say, the story was a great surprise for me. I was not expecting this at all. Brett Vonsik has done a great job with building these characters. As a reader, I always look for novels that keep me guessing what will happen next and this novel did that for me. I could not guess what would happen next. The best thing about this novel was that I could turn to any page or chapter and I would experience the same thrill. The novel is consistent and has beautifully developed characters that will make you keep thinking long after you have finished reading the novel.
