Thrilling and suspenseful are the keywords for the paranormal short story Psychic Episode 1: The Revelation by John Iovine. Brian Miller makes a good living as a fake psychic. Late one night, a desperate and frantic father bangs on Brian's door, begging for help. His wife, Ann Carter, is one of Brian's clients. Their young son had been kidnapped from school earlier that day. When Brian refuses to help him, James Carter pulls out a gun and forces Brian into his car. His plan is to drive his car while Brian divines his son's location. His ultimatum is that Brian must find his son or he is going to shoot him. If his son dies, Brian is going to be in a grave beside him. If Brian is a fake, James promises he'll put a bullet through him. Brian is sweating now and desperate himself. The chances of him helping James and Ann find their son are practically nil. Closing his eyes and focusing, Brian tries to make a psychic connection. Can he do it? Can he reach the boy before it is too late?

Psychic Episode 1: The Revelation by John Iovine is a riveting short story that takes a turn into paranormal realms. This thrilling tale conveys the changes in a man's perceptions of himself as he faces an intense and traumatic situation. In this well-written episode, John Iovine brushes the edge of the realm of psychism and creates a sensational plot. This story is fantastic and the only negative thing I have to say about it is that it is too short! I am looking forward to more stories from John Iovine and recommend them to anyone who loves a good paranormal story.
