His significant life experiences include... well, the statute of limitations hasn't expired in at least a few cases, so let's just leave it at 'He's been around'.

Immerse yourselves in a gripping horror odyssey with Neil T. Jacobs' Rathcrog. Still affected by the abrupt breakdown of his marriage, Dennis Tierney, a dentist, arrives in the small town of Prescott, West Virginia, looking to get his life back on track. After a conversation with Carl Miller, a retired insurance man, Dennis visits the nearby abandoned mining town, Warner, where he inadvertently awakens something that changes his entire being. He begins a murderous rampage that leads Prescott Police Chief Fran Hopper and her tenacious deputy, Holly Willingham, on his trail. Little do they know, Fran and Holly are about to face an ancient evil that thirsts for blood. One by one, Fran and Holly witness their colleagues and townspeople becoming victims of this inexplicable evil. Can they survive and stop it from consuming everything?

A nailbiter of a horror novel, Rathcrog keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Neil T. Jacobs weaves a terrifying yarn of fear, carnage, and bloodshed that will sate the appetites of even the most hardcore horror enthusiasts. From the very first page, Jacobs' narrative draws you in, and with each passing chapter, the stakes continue to rise higher, rarely allowing you to take your eyes off the pages. The plot is filled with unexpected curveballs, making the story even more captivating to read. The characters have personalities that mirror real-life small-town people, and I especially enjoyed the dynamic between Fran and Holly. Lastly, there is a twist ending that may break some hearts. Overall, this is a fantastic book for horror and thriller lovers.
