Read Me: A Parental Primer for "The Talk" by Dr. Lanae St.John, ACS is a handy manual that will guide readers on how to talk about sex to their kids and why it is important. It is vital for parents to teach their children as many life lessons as they can so that youngsters can make smart decisions in their lives and deal with problems independently. The book has good tools and tips that will enable a child's development by giving not only philosophical, abstract, and conceptual advice about human sexuality but also by giving examples that work. The book also shows how the Five Building Blocks can be approached every day without being too concerned about what can be done with penises and vaginas. People are usually scared to talk about sexuality and the book tries to create a positive environment for kids to grow into a healthy sex life that is free of guilt and shame.

The topic is relevant and the author's approach is engaging and interesting, written with a model in mind, and this will help parents to prepare their kids for the modern world. Dr. Lanae St.John has dealt with the subject extensively and methodically, helping readers to use her suggestions when it comes to educating their children about sex and sexuality. The author's Five Building Blocks to a Healthy Sexuality will help parents guide their children properly so that they can develop a healthy sexuality. The book will also help children discuss their emotional and relationship needs. The five concepts of Communication, Consent, Respect, Pleasure, and Fantasy will lay the foundation when it comes to helping children have a healthy sexuality. Read Me is also a good manual that will help readers look into their personal relationships and will encourage them to ask questions that may challenge the ways they might have been brought up to think. The author creates a healthy ambiance for parents to teach children to use the correct terms that promote positive body image, self-confidence, and parent-child communication.
