Repeating Moments is a collection of poems written by G.C. Saiz. There are many different types of poems in this book, covering a lot of different feelings. Some poems are on the lighter side and there are many on the darker side. Each poem is uniquely written and it seems each is showing different feelings for the time they are written. These feelings range from depression and anxiety to anger and loneliness, and many more feelings. There are some on a more positive note, like ambitions and feeling better about oneself. These fifty-nine poems are well written, easy to read, although some are harder to understand than others, but all are written from the heart.

I really enjoyed reading this collection of poems. Suffering from depression and anxiety at times, I could relate to parts of many of the poems. I found it easy to figure out how Saiz was feeling at the time each poem was written. Some of the poems made me smile whereas others are sad and brought tears to my eyes. One of my favorites is UP because this one shows a more positive, warmer side of Saiz. It talks of smiling and taking care of yourself and choosing the small things to create peace. There are more like this, but this is one that will stay with me for a while. Repeating Moments is a debut book for G.C. Saiz and I am glad I could read and review it. I encourage you to pick up a copy of Repeating Moments for yourself to enjoy, especially if you like poetry.
