Author Biography

The Christian Women Writer’s Club (CWW) was created to help today's Christian independent authors connect with readers. This project was headed up by Heather Hart, an internationally best-selling and award-winning author. Heather is a member of CWW management team and has worked as an author coach and mentor for close to a decade. She has always loved writing and was first published as a junior in high school. Heather is thrilled to be living her dream and excited to help other Christian authors be able to do the same. However, she knows that she doesn't have it all together so her hope is that while she's struggling through this thing called life, she's pointing others to Jesus along the way.

Ribbons and Bows: A Holiday Collection is a collection of 5 short stories, 3 novellas, 6 flash fiction, and 3 devotionals by Heather Hart et al. and all revolve around the theme of Christmas. Angel’s Inn by Carolyn Martin tells about a youth group trip on a bus to a ski lodge. When the bus has mechanical issues, a mysterious inn appears just when they need it. Clara’s Suite Christmas by P Yates is about the daughter of a diplomat spending Christmas in Brazil. Clara plays the cello, so when she meets a family of musicians, her lonely life is changed. A Key for Christmas by Gina Holder takes place in 1888 and is about a poor family in a fishing village, scraping by with odd jobs. Missing Jack by Samantha Fury is about a missing Jack Russell Terrier that brings a couple together.

The relationships between the man and his dogs and the young woman and her missing dog were touching. This is also a story about how God can and will change people's lives. I loved the musical story, Clara's Suite Christmas. I could visualize the instruments that the children played and the Beethoven and Mozart pieces that were played by the quintet they created. I also appreciated the romance in A Key for Christmas. I liked how the man went about courting the young lady. Angel's Inn was thought-provoking since the inn was there just when they needed it...
