Sassy & Saved by Aimee P. Miller is the author's personal journey to peace and liberation after going through many painful situations. It is her journey of overcoming depression, fear, low self-esteem, and negativity by refusing to be bogged down by things that held her captive for years. It is her story of faith and belief and her journey with God. She had lost herself to negativity, pain, abuse, fear, and insecurity due to her past experiences, and this book is one woman's grit and courage in finding her purpose beyond the pain. This book is for all the women who have undergone physical, emotional, and mental abuse, and will empower, inspire, and encourage them to forgive themselves, forgive those who have hurt them, and transform themselves for the better.

What makes the memoir palpable to readers is because Aimee P. Miller shares her personal story with honesty, and how she tackled her hardships that came in all forms and emerged successfully. She had faith and trust in the power of God and knew he would never abandon her. God's love is immeasurable and it can reach any depths; be it discouragement, despair, depression, doubt, and fear. The author's experiences show the number of difficulties and challenges she had undergone in life, and how her unconditional love of God helped her sail through these bad times. Sassy & Saved is a story of abuse, pain, grief, healing, redemption, faith, belief, and love, and will encourage readers to understand the power of God and will give them good insights through the biblical stories shared. The author's words will help readers who are going through difficult times to surrender themselves to God and see their fears and doubts replaced.

This book is really the Gospel in a nutshell; the freedom that Christ paid for should be our reality every single day. As women, sometimes we can be guilty of carrying around our hurt like a badge of honor. Rather than allow us to wallow in that for one more moment, Aimee P. Miller catapults us forward in our journey of freedom. Although my pain is different than what Aimee described in her very first chapter, the principles of walking out freedom are so relevant and unwavering. “The truth is, our pain can be our platform if we are committed to walking through the process of healing, recognizing that in Christ we have become new.”

Throughout the journey of freedom outlined in the book, Aimee reminds us that, “God’s presence is the one thing for which there is no substitute.” It brings peace to our storms, answers to our questions, freedom to our minds and identity to our fractured hearts. As we learn to embrace God’s presence, we can more fully walk out our freedom in Him. If you are dealing with anxiety, fear, anger, shame, control or anything else that is holding you back from the fruit of your freedom, I cannot recommend this book enough. Plus I love that it has great questions in the back of each chapter that make this perfect for any Bible study or small group to use. This is a must-read for all believers!

'Sassy & Saved' is a Christian Living/Spiritual Growth book for women by author Aimee P. Miller. Have you ever felt in bondage to captivity? Ever wanted to feel free? Many women feel this way. In her book, Aimee P. Miller shows women how to combat lies women believe with the truth of God. I believe the author was motivated to share her story because she wants women to stop focusing so much on who we are but focus on whose we are. If we are Christians we belong to Christ.

Each chapter begins with Biblical scripture. My favorite piece of scripture is from chapter one. Romans 8. There are also reflection questions at the end of each chapter which would make this a great mentoring tool.

I really love this book. It reminds the reader that the way to have a fulfilling life is through forgiveness and salvation. It is through knowing Jesus and allowing Him to heal you. Trust in Jesus is the way out of bondage.

I will remember this author by the way she forgave her mom and how Jesus made all things new in her life.
