Author Biography

Madison Meadows is a spiritual blogger. She is the author of the series, Stringing Beads: Making A Beautiful Life Moment by Moment. In her most recent release, Shedding the Wife: a spiritual journey through divorce, Madison shares her Dark Night of The Soul in a very raw, authentic way- not holding anything back. Through her ordeal, she finds healing and forgiveness by being vigilant in prayer, meditation, yoga, journaling, and dream work. Madison knows suffering can bridge the individual directly to the Divine. Madison has learned that her longing for a deeper love begins with loving yourself. She hopes her writing inspires other women to heal their wounds through a spiritual practice that serves them in their everyday lives and unites them to God in an intimate way of feeling God's love and presence every day.

Shedding the Wife by Madison Meadows takes readers into the author's personal life where she speaks about the split with her husband and how she was consumed by anger and hatred toward her husband and the woman he left her for. Her story is about self-love and healing and how she decided to give herself time to heal, permission to feel the extreme lows, and courage to explore the source of her anger. The book is a good reminder to women to find their voice and be courageous enough to explore their role in the marriage. The author also speaks about the role of God in her life during her divorce and how her prayers ended up in her meeting the right people to get her through her divorce.

Divorces can be painful and at times traumatic, especially if the relationship has been abusive. It is a good book for all women out there who are going through troubled marriages. It will give them the courage to move forward, discover themselves, and heal from the wounds of pain and abuse they endured while staying in the marriage and afterward until recovery happens. The author's words are encouraging and will help readers connect with her pain and angst. Her spiritual journey is an inspiration to many readers who will be motivated to let go of their unhappy pasts and move forward. She reiterates the power and presence of God in everybody's daily lives and also helps readers find their connection with God.
