M. K. Wiseman’s Sherlock Holmes & The Singular Affair is a gripping tale about an intricate mystery that a client desperately begged the famous Sherlock Holmes to solve. Before meeting and becoming partners in crime with Doctor Watson, Sherlock Holmes lived in Montague, where he spent his days in solitude. The only time he goes out is when he has an interesting case to crack. This includes the most dangerous and unforgettable mystery he worked on, associated with society scandals related to certain well-off people. He takes on a new identity while trying to keep the people related to the case safe. No one other than Sherlock Holmes can solve such a complicated mystery. Join him in this life-threatening case you wouldn’t want to miss!

Sherlock Holmes & The Singular Affair, written by M.K. Wiseman, is an engaging, moderately paced, and well-written story. Sherlock Holmes never fails to give me the excitement I need in solving complicated mysteries. This book has become one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes depictions because of its unpredictable plot and unique characters. Sherlock Holmes’s character in this novel was described and portrayed perfectly by Wiseman. I was not disappointed with the thrill and excitement that I felt as I read the story. I was on the edge of my seat, especially when Sherlock Holmes was faced with a life-threatening situation or a complicated puzzle. Everything about the story was truly amazing. I would love to read this over and over again! Overall, the story was a satisfying and excellent read!
