A new building was constructed in the small town of Daniels, Tennessee. Four teenagers, Wes, Eli, Brianna, and Clare, used to spend time at a gas station nearby. They complain to each other about the boring life in Daniels, where someone couldn't think of anything better than to open a sewing shop. At least, that's what a sign on the new building indicates. One day, Clare and Wes notice a disturbing symbol in the middle of this sign. Being sure that it got there by mistake, Wes wants to warn the shop owners. But when the friends come to the shop to leave a note, they see a group of people involved in a strange ritual. Will the teens find out what is going on in Daniels? Stitched Together by Juliet Rose is for fans of mystery, horror, suspense, and short prose.

Juliet Rose's Stitched Together offers gripping intrigue and raises questions important to young adult and adult readers alike. The storyline develops quickly and smoothly and avoids unnecessary details that could slow down the plot. The writing style is simple. The author slowly tightens the intrigue until the emotional and dramatic climax of the story. The characters are vivid and well-defined. Wes believes in people's good natures and intentions until he finally sees their dark side. From this point of view, Stitched Together is a coming-of-age story. Clare is considered weird at her school. But she is artistic, brave, and attentive. Eli is ready to fight evil no matter what because, for him, too much is at stake. The author warns us that evil may take unexpected forms, and we should always be vigilant. I appreciated the strong message of Stitched Together and the way a small town's creepy ambiance is accurately described.
