Adventures of Zeke: Memory Lane by Kelly Robertson is about a dog named Zeke and the humor and good times he provides for his owner. Zeke attends a dog obedience class, but we are not sure how much he got out of it. Zeke loves water whether it is in the wading pool, or the lake, or a stream. Zeke enjoys riding in the country, but he thinks the horses are big dogs and the cows are horses. When Zeke's owner gets married, Zeke goes on the honeymoon. Then Zeke gets old and weak and he passes. His owner gets comfort from the pictures of the good times she had with Zeke. She plans on seeing him again in heaven. On each page, you will find the little dog tag that the owner has kept as a memory.

My favorite thing in Adventures of Zeke: Memory Lane by Kelly Robertson is the humor. I appreciate the fact that the dog from the animal shelter made such a great pet. I like the fact that Zeke was friends with other dogs. I enjoyed how the new husband of Zeke's owner loved Zeke, too. I think the sad topic of the death of a pet was well presented. I loved how the owner used pictures of Zeke and his antics to remember the good times. I liked the pictures which showed the enthusiasm that Zeke brought to everything in his life. If you have not read the other stories, it does not affect your enjoyment of this story.
