A young dinosaur learns an important lesson about self-worth in the adorable children's picture book, The Fastest Dinosaur by Caren Cantrell. When Constantino, a Saltasaurus, challenges Gigantosaurus Enzo to a race, Enzo is positive he will win. He is better built for speed than herbivore Constantino, and, although he runs on only two legs, his legs are longer than his friend Constantino's. Just as the race starts, Enzo's plans for winning the race change, and the young dinosaur struggles to keep up with his friends. Once confident that he'd win, Enzo begins to have doubts. Resolving to do the right thing but at the same time win, Enzo pushes himself to get to the finish line first. But no matter how fast he runs, Enzo keeps finding trouble. Will he make it to the finish line before Constantino? Or will he lose the race but gain?
