Jasmine C. Caldwell and Jennifer Herrington present The Greek Girl Squad: Nadia which focuses on Nadia and Caleb. When Olivia and Jake temporarily break up, Nadia is quick to try to cheer her friend up. Nadia, Jade, and Olivia go to the local bar, Fable. They run into Jake and Caleb. While Olivia is talking to Jake, Caleb fails to impress Nadia and Jade with some of his player moves. On Jake’s birthday, they are playing laser tag when Nadia kisses Caleb as a ruse. But the kiss sparks an attraction between the two. Caleb learns that Jake is playing Dungeons and Dragons at Nadia’s home. Nadia has car trouble and Caleb arrives to help her. When he tells her of his father’s accounting problems, Nadia offers to help. Caleb and Nadia are destined to be spending a lot of time together but nothing is ever smooth sailing.

Nadia and Caleb are exceptionally well-developed characters. Jasmine C. Caldwell and Jennifer Herrington weave the story so that the reasons for the way the pair acts are relatable. Caleb’s history of being abandoned by his mother and treated as an outcast makes his introverted lifestyle realistic. Nadia has body image issues since her ex said she was built like a man when he dumped her. I liked how Nadia’s brothers were involved in the story and looked out for her best interests. I think it would be intimidating to meet them: a marine sniper, a special forces soldier, and an officer with security clearances in classified operations. The smooth transitions between Nadia's and Caleb’s perspectives gave a personal look at the evolving relationship. The Greek Girl Squad: Nadia will appeal to readers interested in growing romances between misfits and fans of Dungeons and Dragons gameplay.
