The Library Attic Attack by Iris March is the second book in the Succulent Sleuth Mini Mystery Series. Molly and Claudia are in charge of a Plant Swap at the town library. Frank Driscoll is the library board president, and he’s friendly with everyone – except the head librarian. When the event is over, Molly, Claudia, and Molly’s husband, Scott, take the tables and chairs back up to the attic, where they find Frank Driscoll collapsed on the floor. At first, they thought he’d had a heart attack, but Molly has her suspicions that something else happened, and she’s back on the case to find the truth. Can she learn the truth, or will whoever hurt Frank get away with it?

The Library Attic Attack by Iris March is a lovely, really well-written story. It is short and easy to read in one sitting because you won’t want to put it down once you start! I didn’t read the first one in the series, but I felt I learned enough about the main characters to understand them, and they are all likable people. You’ll learn a bit about plants, too, as a bonus. The plot is solid, there’s plenty of action, and more than a few suspects to choose from. It won’t be easy to guess who did it and why, either. If you like short, easy reads that keep you hooked from the start, you’ll enjoy this book. You could read it as a standalone, but, as with any series, it’s best to read them all in order.
