The Messy Kids is a children's picture book written by Lois Wickstrom with illustrations by Nicolás Milano. The story is about Chester, a boy who does not want to clean his room. This book will introduce you to four little creatures that Chester refers to as The Messy Kids. The kids emerge from the merry-go-round and cause havoc in Chester's room. His mother is mad at him because his new friends do not know how to clean up after themselves. She cannot see the kids but suggests he teaches them how to put things in the right place. Join Chester as he and his new friends make a mess and try to clean his room.

The Messy Kids is a cute storybook that will introduce your children to new friends and teach them how to clean their rooms. It is an entertaining read with great characters. It is difficult to get children to clean anything. Parents and caregivers can read this book with their children to teach them the importance of tidying up and having a good time with new friends. Lois Wickstrom's storytelling has a smooth flow and is very engaging. She blends comedy and intrigue to grab the reader's attention, and I loved the little details she added to the story, like giving each messy kid a personality. Props to Nicolás Milano because his beautiful illustrations brought these characters to life. The kids have different colors and physical features like tails, wings, and multiple limbs. You need to get a copy of this book to appreciate the story and the characters. Great work.
