Author Biography

Hi there! I am Angelina Bliss, an art therapist, coach, and career counselor with over 20 years of experience in Italy. As someone passionate about helping people live their best lives, I find immense joy in guiding individuals toward realizing their full potential.

I grew up in a family where expressive and artistic languages allowed us to unite and share beauty, love, and unique talents.
Not everything was perfect, as in any family, but music, drawing, painting, and photography nourished, educated, entertained, and even healed us during challenging times.

As I grew older, I embarked on a career of service to others as a career coach. I often felt the limitations of words when assisting my clients or teaching in group settings. That's when I decided to incorporate expressive language into my work. I attended a three-year school in Italy and became an art therapist.

My perspective on life and the world is that each of us has a unique and memorable light shining within. My purpose is to help people see that light, recognize it, and love it, even in the small everyday things.

This book is my first publishing experience. It's a simple coloring book, but it carries a particular intention. It aims to guide people in seeing how an activity dedicated to relaxation can catalyze a journey of self-discovery and self-love.

Art allows us to express our inner world, give it shape, and, once it's out, recognize and embrace it in a loving dialogue with ourselves.

In recent decades, many health experts have recognized the value of adult coloring books in relieving stress and lessening anxiety. In The Mindful Mandala Marvel Adult Coloring Book, art therapist Angelina Bliss guides you, helping you to get the most out of this therapeutic activity. Rather than jump right into the line art, the first dozen pages of the book assist us in choosing the proper setting, supplies, and color palettes. Information about mandalas, color symbolism, and art therapy is presented clearly and brightly. What follows are fifty-one prompts, each referred to as a tip of the day, along with fifty-one intricately patterned designs just waiting to come to life through your preferred art materials.

The artwork is superb for attentive colorists, offering enough complexity to be challenging yet with sufficient geometric repetition to remain soothing. Having ventured into the world of coloring books a few times before, I expected to find immersive line drawings, but what truly impressed me about Angelina Bliss’s book is how illuminating the introductory information and the daily tips are. More than just an adult coloring book, this value-added content is like having a series of coaching sessions with an experienced mindfulness expert. Although I have only colored one design from this collection thus far, I can already say that I am more enlightened and feel more grounded after having experienced this calming book. And I’m looking forward to spending more time enjoying the variety of unique mesmerizing patterns.
