Author Biography

I always loved to write. If it happens, I write it. If I contemplate it, I write it. If I find a willing reader, I am honored to share my passion. Through seminars, classes, and critique groups I continue to learn and make new and interesting friends.

My first manuscript began as a one-page assignment for my creative writing class. LEGACY is still a work in progress. My protagonist and her story have grown in depth and complexity along with the author who created them.

THE INJUSTICE SYSTEM IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU is a frightening true story of our judicial and prison system's power. It happened to my friends. THE MIRACLE KNOWN AS ED LEVINE is fiction based on the life of my friend. From his birth in London during World War II to terminal cancer at the age of 62, his is an inspiring story of survival. ANNY & ME is a memoir of a unique connection. My next book, STOLEN INNOCENCE, is a true story of abuse, abandonment, and heartbreak, and will be published in 2023.

I'm eighty now and have learned that it's never too late to follow your dreams.

The Miracle Known as Ed Levine: Based on a True Story by Ronarose Train is a remarkable biography about how one man beat the odds against him and thrived even in difficult circumstances. Ed Levine was born in 1942, in the East End which was London’s section for immigrants. As a Jew born in war-ravaged London, Levine grew up in destitution. His difficult circumstances were compounded by his struggle with dyslexia which led his teachers to label him as incapable. But Levine was resolute in overcoming any challenge thrown at him. Despite facing racial discrimination throughout his life, he excelled at work. When he was later diagnosed with lung cancer, he adopted the same unbeatable spirit. Refusing to give up, he fought for his life.

When reading Ed Levine’s biography, I was inspired by his determination and strength. Though his childhood was marred by devastating poverty and bullying, he never let the setbacks stop him from achieving his dreams. I also loved reading about his career journey which included how he painstakingly worked his way to the top throughout his sales career while overcoming such obstacles as racism. His story also provides a compelling picture of the situation many immigrants faced in London during the war. Ed Levine’s biography will inspire anyone who has struggled to fit in, those with learning disabilities, and anyone who is disadvantaged because of their social or economic background. The Miracle Known as Ed Levine by Ronarose Train will also offer hope and strength to cancer patients.
