The Seventh Birthday Wish is a fantasy tale presented as an audiobook for children and was penned by Bruce E. Arrington with narration by Philip Church. The audiobook tells the tale of a young boy named Wesley who uses a birthday wish to discover new places, make new friends, and to try to improve the lives of people around him. The narration is accompanied by a soundtrack by composer Costas Christodoulou. In terms of story, author Bruce E. Arrington writes some absolutely delightful rhymes which are certain to fill his readers with joy and hopefulness throughout the tale. The plot is well composed for a short book, and the atmosphere and choice of text are truly magical to bring Wesley to life. The spirit of the little boy is clear as he ventures towards new things with vigor.

In terms of narration, Philip Church matches the author’s peppy and hopeful language usage with his own special brand of brightness. There is great clarity to the enunciation of every word, which is sure to help kids who are either listening or reading along to the picture book version, which I imagine would also be delightful to do. The editing is also crisp and clear, and the atmospheric music from composer Costas Christodoulou gives a magical undertone to the tale overall. The Seventh Birthday Wish is a highly recommended audiobook experience for children aged six and up, one which is sure to stay in their hearts and memories long after.
