A groundbreaking, timely, and precise book, Thrive: 10 Commandments for 20-Somethings to Live the Best-Life-Possible by Jeffrey Froh presents 10 commandments that align with the 10 commandments from the Bible and guide readers toward thriving in life. The book examines the factors that make people successful and what keeps people going even when they face challenges like health problems, addiction, and self-harm. You will find some interesting interviews with different greatly inspiring, exemplary individuals—including a 21-year-old woman who battled cancer from the young age of eight. Some of the thoughtful lessons in the book include the importance of connecting to a divine direction, the great price of materialism, the healing power of nature, the benefits of disconnecting from the internet, and the harmful effects of needing people's approval.

Jeffrey Froh does an amazing, exceptional job of picking several deep lessons from the Bible and relating them to modern problems, especially among youths. Readers who struggle with finding a fulfilling goal or sticking to it while surrounded by distractions from friends, social media, gadgets, and so on will be inspired to achieve more with actionable instructions and convincing ideas in Thrive. The book's messages are effectively communicated to readers, with references to scientific findings, philosophical writings, interviews and conversations with friends and clients, and biblical passages. Since I read the book, I have been choosing to see more people physically and have fewer online conversations. Thrive provides a roadmap for finding oneself in a world plagued with increasing distractions accelerated by technology. The book is a must-read for young adults who wish to be more spiritual, humane, present, and successful.
