Author Biography

I was born Terry Lee Rhodes on October 5, 1953, at a little spot in northwestern Kentucky on the Ohio river called Uniontown, which would immediately mark me as a local "river rat." Me being the oldest of five children with two brothers coming close behind and two sisters bringing up the rear.
We had a multitude of family members living all around us and many wonderful years running back and forth between them and grandaddy's farm. From the outside looking in we were a wonderful family, however, our father had a very dark side to him that would result in the cops toting him off to jail in handcuffs when I was 13 years old. My special mom, brothers and sisters all agree that it was the most wonderful day of our lives.
Bored with high school and craving adventure I quit, obtained my GED and have been blessed to work at a multitude of diversified jobs throughout the United States.
After 56 years and three husbands I found myself alone in Indiana: my daughter had moved, my husband of 30 years had divorced me, and my only son, my first born child died in an automobile accident. Troy was only 28 years old when he left his 3 month old daughter.
Was I really alone? Immediately, I and other family members began to receive signs that Troy was still with us, helping and watching over us all. Within the pages of "Troy's Miracles" is what I believe is the irrefutable proof that my prayers were answered and my son remains on Earth as our special angel.

"Troy’s Miracles" by Terry Lee Rambo is a book that many will find hard to believe and others will find heart lifting. In this small book of the author's memoirs she tells how, as the oldest of five children, she grew up in Kentucky with an abusive father. Never satisfied with her life, she was always seeking adventure and had held many jobs in her life, married three times and now divorced and single, raising two children. Her oldest son Troy was killed at the young age of 28 in an automobile accident and this is the basis for the book. As the old saying goes, parents are not supposed to bury their children but we all know that it happens. Having been raised as a devout Catholic, Terry soon learns that no matter what she did, Troy was with her. He had become her guardian angel on earth and her faith is restored.

This is a small book that I read in one sitting. I have always believed in Angels and that we all have a guardian angel watching over us. As I read some of the happenings that occurred after the death of her son I wondered how many incidents really came from her angel son and how many were coincidences. There is no doubt that I believe and know that we have a powerful God and he will do wonders. Having heard of many that have visited after death in my own family, I do not doubt the author. I just feel that maybe some things like a flower popping up in a field or a tree not producing fruits one year and other little episodes could be natural happenings of nature and not angel occurrences. The main thing is that her faith was restored, her grieving and broken heart was healed and she felt her son beside her almost all the time. Not only she but others in her family also felt him. I feel like anyone that has lost a child, a father, mother or any family member or even a close friend and then getting a spiritual uplifting after reading this book.

I read it cover to cover the first night I received it. I have read it twice now. I have also had many unusual things happen to me (ESP and experiencing things before they happen) so I do believe this book is as real as real can be. I have lost 5 children to miscarriage and nearly lost our only daughter to a drowning incident. This book touched my heart deeply. It was an amazing book and very well written. I have a friend who also lost a son (about the same age as Troy) in a car accident and I bought her a book as well as the one for myself. My friend also has had some very unusual happenings involving her son who is with God and now she knows she is NOT "losing it or imagining it" but is indeed being contacted by her passed away son and other passed on loved ones. There is definitely life after death and this book was so very comforting, sweet, full of love, hope and encouragement. Really pulled at my heart strings and blessed me.. God is very real and I feel sorry for people who do not believe in HIM, and think that this "life" we have now on earth is IT, it is NOT. What a God we have.... to allow Troy to contact his Mom to help heal her grieving and broken heart. The photos were amazing too and added to the whole experience of reading the book. I will keep it ALWAYS and share with people how it touched me. The front cover was so beautiful.
Awesome job Terry and may God bless all that you do to help other people who have also lost a child or in fact lost any loved one. A reader of Troy's Miracles
