Tutored in Love by Barbara J. Adamson is everything you would expect from a great love story. The novel begins with one of the most horrifying blind dates imaginable. This sets the stage for an older Grace to change the way she sees and treats others. A few years later Grace needs a math tutor. When she meets Noah, he is nothing like she expected. Noah is rude and never speaks about anything but math. At the end of the year, an unexpected turn of events explains Noah’s rudeness and an adventure begins that neither of them saw coming. With misunderstandings and unplanned meetings, Grace and Noah embark on a path of self-discovery and unavoidable romance.

I just couldn’t put Tutored in Love down once I started reading it. This novel gave me a few enjoyable late nights, and I would not have had it any other way. The love story between Grace and Noah is authentic and enjoyable. I have to applaud Barbara J. Adamson and her humor. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. Grace is such a relatable character you can’t help but root for her and Noah to get together. I loved how the author incorporated religion into the story without making it overpowering, but still putting it out there for Christians to enjoy. This is Adamson’s first published novel and I just can’t wait for the next one.
